Due to the high content of functional compounds – e.g., phycocyanins, and polysaccharides – spirulina has shown antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, immune-modulating, and microbial-modulating properties. This can effect the maintenance of a good arterial blood pressure, as well as blood sugar and lipid levels.
Aronia (aronia melanocarpa) – due to the presence and high content of bioactive components (mainly polyphenols), aronia exhibit a wide range of positive effects, such as a strong antioxidant activity that may exhibit health benefits, such as hastroprotection, hepatoprotection and inflammation control.
